From November 18 to 20, 2024, analytica China & labtech China was successfully held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, bringing together new ideas and technical exchanges for the laboratory industry. Shanghai Hanguang Technology showcased its newly developed HANGUANG-LAB series fume hoods at the exhibition, receiving widespread recognition from users and industry professionals.

HANGUANG-LAB Series

The HANGUANG-LAB series fume hood made its debut at the exhibition. Its narrow side panels maximize the internal operating space. The air-supply column design effectively prevents harmful gases generated by turbulent airflow inside the hood from escaping, while reducing the discharge of conditioned indoor air, improving operating efficiency, and lowering running costs.

Digital Twin Platform

At the exhibition, Hanguang’s digital twin platform attracted considerable attention from laboratory users and industry experts. With the integration of GIS, BIM, simulation, visual rendering, interactive control, IoT sensing, and other technologies, digital twins are creating a growing range of new models and application scenarios. Laboratory digital transformation represents a strategic shift, providing effective data support for laboratory users in decision-making.

Hanguang’s independently developed digital twin platform is built through secondary development based on globally advanced game development software, accurately recreating real laboratory application scenarios. It delivers smooth visual performance and converts physical environments into virtual representations. The platform also offers advantages including large storage capacity, high-volume data transmission, and fast transfer speeds.

Mr. Hou Haifeng, President of Hanguang Technology, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation titled “Exploring the Future Development of Laboratories—The Integration of Technology and Innovation in the AI Era” at the Shanghai Laboratory Planning, Construction and Management Conference and Smart Laboratory Conference. Mr. Hou discussed the future direction of laboratory development from the perspectives of AI-powered smart platform objectives, core algorithms, application scenarios, and automated laboratories. The arrival of the AI era will transform traditional laboratory development models, improve the efficiency of laboratory personnel, and provide sustained momentum for scientific advancement.

On November 19, the 2024 Biomedical Laboratory Construction and Management Forum was jointly organized by analytica China, Shanghai Hanguang Technology, and the China Pharmaceutical Engineering Design Association. Focusing on biomedical laboratory construction, the forum featured in-depth discussions on key topics including laboratory safety design, laboratory facility design, and smart laboratory design. Its comprehensive content attracted numerous professional visitors and received widespread recognition.
