Fume Hood Safety Guidelines:
For laboratory safety, please observe the following precautions:

1. Do not conduct experiments inside the fume hood unless the ventilation system is operating. Do not place your head inside the fume hood while performing or observing an experiment.
2. Do not store or use flammable or explosive materials inside the fume hood. Do not conduct experiments involving mixtures of organic substances prohibited from discharge and highly chlorinated compounds.

3. In the event of a chemical spill or splash, immediately disconnect the power supply and promptly remove all chemicals from the cabinet and worktop to prevent long-term residue from corroding the surfaces.

4. Do not place portable power strips inside the fume hood.

5. Press the control panel buttons gently and avoid incorrect operation that may damage the buttons or panel.

6. During experiments, keep the sash at an appropriate height above the worktop. Raise or lower the sash slowly and carefully to prevent hand injuries and extend the service life of the sash cables.

7. Keep the fume hood operating area unobstructed and avoid placing items around the hood. When the fume hood is not in use, do not store excessive laboratory equipment or chemicals on the worktop, and do not use it for long-term storage.

8. If the fume hood fails to start or the fan produces an abnormal sound, stop operation immediately. Inspection and repair must be carried out by qualified maintenance personnel or trained technicians from the owner’s equipment maintenance department. Do not disassemble or repair the equipment without authorization.

9. If ventilation performance is poor, please contact our sales representative promptly so that the engineering department can arrange repairs as soon as possible.
